About the Studio
The story
Monster Trax Studio started in 1996 at Highlever Road, London W10 — a modest 8-track setup with big ambitions. By 2007 we had moved to Chiswick, and in 2013 to the Nottinghamshire countryside, where the studio found its permanent home: a quiet rural setting near Newark with the space and calm that great recording demands.
The philosophy has always been the same: stay on top of technology, never lose sight of the music.
The engineer
Misha Nikolić — Producer, Engineer, Guitarist. Nearly three decades in the business. Relaxed in the studio, detail-obsessed in the mix. Clients call it “golden ears” — he just calls it listening carefully.
