Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any service with Monster Trax Studio (“the Studio”). By confirming a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Bookings and Deposits

All bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your session date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the session before work begins. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

2. Revisions

All mixing and mastering services include two rounds of revisions as standard. Additional revisions beyond this are charged at £40/hour. Revision requests must be submitted in writing within 14 days of receiving the initial delivery.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 7 days before the booked session: the deposit is forfeited but no further charge applies.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the session: the full session fee is payable.

Cancellations due to illness or genuine emergency will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The Studio reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to equipment failure or other circumstances beyond its control.

4. Credit Line

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Monster Trax Studio reserves the right to include a credit line on all released work (“Recorded / Mixed / Mastered at Monster Trax Studio”). This applies to streaming releases, physical releases, and promotional materials.

5. Archiving and File Retention

Project files (sessions, stems, and masters) are retained for 90 days after delivery. After this period, files may be deleted without notice. Clients are responsible for maintaining their own backups. Archiving beyond 90 days is available on request at an additional charge.

6. Intellectual Property

Ownership of the recorded material remains with the client. Monster Trax Studio retains no rights over the musical content. However, the Studio reserves the right to use short excerpts from completed work for promotional purposes (showreel, website, social media) unless the client expressly requests otherwise in writing.

7. Client Conduct

Clients and their guests are expected to treat the Studio and its equipment with care. Any damage caused by the client or their associates will be charged at full replacement or repair cost. The Studio reserves the right to terminate a session without refund in cases of abusive or disruptive behaviour.

8. Liability

Monster Trax Studio takes all reasonable care with client materials. However, the Studio accepts no liability for loss or damage to client-owned media, instruments, or equipment brought to the premises. Clients are advised to maintain appropriate insurance for valuable items.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
